Michael L. Wadel, PE
President / Professional Engineer

Michael is co-owner of Wadel-Mell Inc and is a Professional Engineer and Surveyor in Training in Pennsylvania. Michael has extensive experience in stormwater management, erosion and sedimentation control, NPDES permitting and subdivision/land development. He is also responsible for stream obstruction and encroachment permits, sewer and waterline design, FEMA flood hazard applications/certificates, and alternative sewage systems (i.e. small flow treatment facilities, spray irrigation systems,). Additional experience includes construction stakeout, construction cost estimating, and PennDOT plans and applications.

Michael, a Pennsylvania State University graduate, resides in Shippensburg, PA with his wife Corrie and their two dogs Madden and Roman. He enjoys camping, hiking and skiing, and loves to watch football in the fall. He serves on the Church Council at Trinity UMC in Walnut Bottom, PA and sits on the Board of Directors of the Cumberland County Conservation District and Cumberland Franklin Joint Municipal Authority. A retired First Sergeant, Michael served for over 24 years in the Pennsylvania National Guard and was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2008/2009.

Joshua B. Mell, PLS
Vice President / Professional Land Surveyor

Joshua, a Professional Land Surveyor in Pennsylvania, is co-owner of Wadel-Mell Inc. He has over 25 years of experience in boundary, topographic, and construction surveys. He also has extensive experience in subdivision & land development planning, erosion & sedimentation control, and DEP planning procedures.

Joshua lives in Carlisle, PA with his wife and two children. He enjoys traveling, sports, and spending time with family.
